About Whodis
Whodis is a full, evidence-backed domain investigation suite. It starts
with the appropriate RDAP, WHOIS, or RWhois authority, then connects that
identity to DNS inventory, bounded service diagnostics, infrastructure
attribution, technology profiling, research pivots, change tracking, and
a score-free homepage audit.
The native desktop application provides registration, DNS query,
resolver comparison, delegation, web, TLS, mail, stack, homepage
observations, related-domain, findings, batch, and raw-source views
without requiring the command-line application.
How to install Whodis
- Click Download — the project's official release page opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest .AppImage file.
- Make it executable: right-click › Properties › Permissions › Allow executing as program, or run chmod +x the-file.AppImage in a terminal.
- Double-click the file to run Whodis — there's nothing to install, and you can delete the file to remove it.
Frequently asked questions
Is Whodis free to download?
Yes. The Download button sends you to github.com, the developer's official site, where Whodis is available to download. Appimo doesn't host or modify any files.
Is Whodis safe?
Whodis downloads directly from the developer. As always, scan the installer with your antivirus and choose Custom setup to skip any bundled extras.
