About VOSK Dictation

VOSK Dictation recognizes Russian speech offline and inserts the result into the focused text field. It runs in the system tray without a main window.

Hold the left Alt key for about 1.2 seconds to start recording, then hold it again to stop recording and insert the recognized text. The included model is vosk-model-small-ru-0.22.

How to install VOSK Dictation

Click Download — the project's official release page opens in a new tab.
Download the latest .AppImage file.
Make it executable: right-click › Properties › Permissions › Allow executing as program, or run chmod +x the-file.AppImage in a terminal.
Double-click the file to run VOSK Dictation — there's nothing to install, and you can delete the file to remove it.
