About QPlayer
QPlayer is an open-source music player for Linux, Windows, macOS, and
Android. It plays local music through a responsive interface with light,
dark, and optional cover-based dynamic color themes.
Animated per-syllable lyrics support translations and romanization.
Optional JavaScript source plugins can add online search,
recommendations, and playlists; QPlayer itself does not include an
online music source.
How to install QPlayer
- Click Download — the project's official release page opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest .AppImage file.
- Make it executable: right-click › Properties › Permissions › Allow executing as program, or run chmod +x the-file.AppImage in a terminal.
- Double-click the file to run QPlayer — there's nothing to install, and you can delete the file to remove it.
