About QmidiNet

QmidiNet is a MIDI network gateway application that sends and receives

MIDI data (ALSA Sequencer and/or JACK MIDI) over the network, using UDP/IP

multicast. Inspired by multimidicast (http://llg.cubic.org/tools) and

designed to be compatible with ipMIDI for Windows (http://nerds.de).

How to install QmidiNet

  1. Click Download — the project's official release page opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest .AppImage file.
  3. Make it executable: right-click › Properties › Permissions › Allow executing as program, or run chmod +x the-file.AppImage in a terminal.
  4. Double-click the file to run QmidiNet — there's nothing to install, and you can delete the file to remove it.
