About Dendro
Dendro is a graphical package manager and dependency hierarchy explorer for Fedora RPM systems.
Package changes are resolved and executed through Fedora's DNF5 system daemon. The daemon owns RPM transaction locking and Polkit authorization; Dendro reviews the structured resolved plan before requesting execution.
Structured DNF5 transaction review with protected-package removal warnings
Repository enable and disable through the DNF5 repository D-Bus API
Native RPM metadata, dependency, file-integrity, changelog, and scriptlet inspection
Constrained direct HTTPS third-party repository-file addition and deletion on RPM installations
Flatpak support without a generic host-command escape.
How to install Dendro
- Click Download — the project's official release page opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest .AppImage file.
- Make it executable: right-click › Properties › Permissions › Allow executing as program, or run chmod +x the-file.AppImage in a terminal.
- Double-click the file to run Dendro — there's nothing to install, and you can delete the file to remove it.
